DiSC Communication: Working as a Team Training

Join Training and Development for DiSC Communication: Working as a Team on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.

Misunderstandings, miscommunications, and personality clashes prevent teams from being effective. This workshop is for individuals who would like to help their teams grow and improve productivity and efficiency while working together to form strong, cohesive teams. You will learn DiSC communication style strategies and methods to capitalize on the strengths and understand the weaknesses of each personality style to work more effectively with your team.

Learning Objectives:

After this training, learners will be able to:

  • Understand the dynamics of their own personality style and how they typically interact with others
  • Embrace the diversity and differences of others
  • Identify stress coping tips for each style
  • Build stronger teams using the strengths of each team member’s style

Basic Course Outline:

  1. Introductions
  2. Review of DiSC 1: Understanding You
  3. Review of DiSC 2: Understanding Other Styles
  4. Working as an effective team
  5. Giving and receiving feedback
  6. Delegating to others
  7. Responses to conflict

Sign up in HealthStream, search the Catalog for DiSC Communication: Working as a Team, click Enroll or Choose Class to register.

Training and Development recommends you complete DiSC 1: Understanding You and DiSC 2: Understanding Other Styles, prior to registering for DiSC 3: Working as a Team, but it is not required.
