Please join APU on our new date, March 3rd, same time same place to learn more about the amazing opportunities available through the APU Early Honors Program. If you are unable to join us let us know and you we’ll be happy to schedule an individual appointment or tour.

Early Honors Students

  • Meet high school graduation requirements.
  • Earn up to 36 college credits a year.
  • Learn how to navigate university life.
  • Build confidence to embark on the next stage of your educational journey.
  • Graduate with transferable credits accepted by colleges and universities in Alaska and beyond.
  • Have an opportunity to participate in APU’s Block Travel Courses – previous travel courses have gone to Norway, the Bahamas, and Iceland.

For over 20 years, the Early Honors Program at APU has delivered an experiential, place-based educational program to high school students across Alaska. In our distinctive and fully immersed dual credit program, Early Honors students meet high school graduation requirements, earn college credits, learn how to navigate university life, and build confidence to embark on the next stage of their educational journey.
