APU Spring Creek Farm’s Annual Seedling Sale: TODAY
May 25th, 2022 by Fiona Brosnan
Planning a garden for this summer? Mark your calendars for APU Spring Creek Farm’s Annual Seedling Sale!
This year’s sale is today from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. outside the Carr Gottstein Academic Center on the Alaska Pacific University Campus in Anchorage (4225 University Drive Anchorage, AK 99508).

The APU Farm grows high-quality, organically produced, and Alaska adapted seedlings, which are sure to get your garden off to a good start, and funds raised help to support ongoing educational, production, and research efforts at the farm. We will be growing: Basil, Beets, Bok Choi, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Collard Greens, Cucumbers, Dill, Fennel, Kale, Kohlrabi, Lettuce, Mint, Napa Cabbage, Onions, Oregano, Parsley, Peas, Hot Peppers, Scallions, Swiss Chard, Thyme, Tomatoes, Turnips and Zucchini.
New this year: We are implementing a change to this year’s sale in that we will not be taking preorders. However, we will have plentiful stock of nearly all of the crops we have provided in the past (they have eliminated leeks and rutabaga). Please join us in May and support the farm by buying your seedlings from APU this year!
If you have preordered and picked up your seedlings in Palmer in the past, and would like to do so again this year, please contact farm manager Ben Swimm at bswimm@alaskapacific.edu and he will work to arrange something!
