June 6th, 2022 by Ginny Occhipinti
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Infection Prevention and Control Procedure: The procedure provides guidelines for the use of PPE during patient care to prevent the transmission of infectious agents associated with healthcare delivery.
  • Standard Precautions Procedure: This is a new procedure which provides guidelines for interactions between patients and ANMC employees, contract workers, students, and volunteers to prevent the transmission of infectious agents associated with healthcare delivery.
  • Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) Policy: Establishes the framework for the process of conducting a Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) at ANMC.
  • Legal Guardian Notation Procedure 101-14D with attachments: When an incapacitated adult patient has a court-appointed legal guardian with medical decision-making power, all staff must communicate with the legal guardian in accordance with ANMC’s policies and procedures regarding patient rights and informed consent.  This procedure explains the steps that must be followed when staff learns that a patient has a court-appointed legal guardian with medical decision-making power.

All policies are available here (best used in Chrome or Edge browsers) or the Ethics and Compliance SharePoint site. This update should replace any previous procedure you may have printed or posted in your department.
