Compliance training season has been moved to April 1- May 31 this year and is now open. To ensure we get the highest rate of staff participation, we are doing a raffle every two weeks! At the end of each two –week period, we will be drawing four winners that have completed their training. The longer you wait, the smaller the prize gets, so don’t sleep on getting your compliance training done! The prizes are as follows:

  • April 1- April 12: 4 Atikluks from Naataq Gear based in Nome
  • April 15-April 26: 4 ANTHC Stanley Cup Water Bottles
  • April 29-May 10: 4 Beanies from Trickster (there are two options)
  • May 13-May 28: 4 Lanyards from Trickster (there are four options)

We will be sending you email updates with the winners at the end of each period and a reminder when the next raffle period opens.

Helpful tips to successfully complete the required compliance training:

  • HealthStream: Access to the ANTHC HLC is available through shortcut icons on The Hub or 24/7 from any computer at www.healthstream.com/hlc/anthc. You do not need network access to log in to HealthStream.
  • Logging in: User ID = employee’s five-digit Employee ID Number (located on the backside of the ANTHC employee badge, at the bottom).
  • Password: The unique password you created.
  • Internet browsers: The courses display best in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Internet Explorer is not recommended for use in completing the annual compliance training.
  • Popups: Make sure to turn off your popup blocker so HealthStream can display on your computer’s browser.
  • Course test out: For some review courses, staff have one opportunity to test out by passing a pre-assessment to complete the training. If this assessment is not passed on the first attempt, you will be required to review the course content and pass a post-assessment.
  • Questions: For questions about this training or issues with HealthStream, contact healthstream@anthc.org.

Building and maintaining a healthy workplace for everyone at ANTHC is one of our top priorities. A critical part of that process is making sure everyone on our team operates with a high level of professionalism, treats one another with respect and acts ethically. Both for new employees and for people who have been serving here for a long time, annual compliance training is a must for our organization.

We know the training might not be the most exciting part of your day, but it’s incredibly important. Moving forward, this responsibility is equally important as arriving on time for your shift or completing your core work. If you do not complete the training by May 31, you will not be eligible for a compensation increase next year, and your employment may be at risk.

Thank you for your commitment to staying informed and up-to-date with our company’s policies and procedures. Compliance training plays a key role in ensuring that we operate ethically, responsibly and in accordance with the laws and standards that govern our industry.

We appreciate you and all the work that you do for our organization.
