Wear purple for National Health Cares about Domestic Violence Day

We invite all staff to show support for ‘Health Cares About Domestic Violence’ by wearing purple. This nationally recognized day, sponsored by FUTURES, falls on the second Wednesday of October each year. Its purpose is to raise awareness among healthcare and advocacy communities about the critical importance of universal education to promote healthy relationships, address the health impact of abuse, and provide warm referrals to domestic violence advocates.
