Keeping the Cycle Going by Supporting Commercial Tobacco Free Policy: GHWIC and Beyond

Join the Coordinating Center for Good Health and Wellness in Indian Country and a panel of speakers for guidance, tools, and resources to support GHWIC recipients and sub-awardees in implementing, expanding, sustaining and enforcing comprehensive commercial smoke free laws and policies.

Learning Objectives

  • Outline steps to inform policy change
  • Distinguish policy changes relevant to government and non-governmental entities
  • Highlight evidence-based policies among Tribes, Tribal organizations, and Urban Indian Organizations
  • Provide best practices for commercial tobacco free policy efforts
  • Provide examples of commercial tobacco policy successes
