Emergency Services Expansion (ESE) project update

ESE project update for March 15, 2024.
  • On Saturday, March 9, ASKW Davis General Contractor occupied a portion of ANMC’s East parking lot.
    • Signage for handicap parking will be relocated to the south side of ANMC. 
    • General access to the hospital and the ED for vehicles and staff will not be impacted at this time. 
  • The ED Overflow is closed and no longer available as a patient care space.
    • The Infection Control Risk Assessment Plan has been implemented. Remaining medical equipment has been disposed of by Davis and finalization of the air handling unit sequence of operations is occurring now.
    • Once the space is fully isolated from the ANMC hospital, demolition will begin.
