AK ID ECHO

You’re invited to join AK ID ECHO which aims to increase Tribal health care providers’ knowledge about prevention strategies, screening, diagnosing, treatment, and management of HCV, HIV, PrEP, common STIs and related topics.

Call for Cases and Questions: Do you have a patient case or questions you would like to receive input on during an upcoming ECHO? Specialists are available to review patient cases and provide treatment recommendations. Please email, jjwilliamson@anthc.org to submit a question or request a patient case form.

 

This ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is for Tribal and community primary care health providers, nurses, pharmacists, behavioral health and social workers in Alaska to learn best practices and gain competence and confidence in preventing HIV infection with PrEP, preventing HCV and STIs, and caring for Alaska Native/American Indian patients facing HCV-HIV-STI diagnoses. Hosted by ANTHC’s Liver Disease and Hepatitis Program and Early Intervention Services/HIV Clinical Services.

 

Enduring continuing education is available for the syphilis training and PrEP mini-series at www.anthc.org/ak-id-echo.

 

This project is funded by the Minority HIV/AIDS Fund through the Indian Health Service.
