AK ID ECHO: DoxyPEP

October 10, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

AK ID ECHO aims to increase Tribal healthcare providers’ knowledge about prevention strategies, screening, diagnosing, treatment, and management of hepatitis C, HIV, PrEP, and common STIs. Each session starts with a didactic presentation followed by a patient case and questions.

Please let us know if you have a patient case or question(s) that you would like to review during the ECHO.  Email jjwilliamson@anthc.org.

This ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is for Tribal and community primary care health providers, nurses, pharmacists, and behavioral health care providers in Alaska to learn best practices and gain competence and confidence in preventing HIV infection with PrEP, preventing HCV and STIs, and caring for Alaska Native/American Indian patients facing HCV-HIV-STI diagnoses.

In support of improving patient care, Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
The ANMC Joint Accreditation CE Program Portfolio additionally supports Behavioral Health (APA), Social Work (ASWB-ACE), and Dietitians (CPEU).

~This ECHO is supported by a grant from the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board and funding is provided by the HHS Secretary’s Minority HIV/AIDS Fund.
