ANTHC Epidemiology Center Training: R for Beginners

Join the ANTHC Epidemiology Center for a 2-hour training that will introduce foundational R skills including installing packages, analyzing and visualizing data, and exporting output. No prior knowledge of R is necessary. Register today!

Learning Objectives

1. Understand R syntax and structure
2. Manipulate datasets and conduct simple analyses
3. Create and export tables and figures

Training Facilitators

Megan Ackerman, MS | Biostatistician
Megan is a Biostatistician at the Alaska Native EpiCenter. Megan holds a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Demography, and she provides data analysis, data dissemination, and technical assistance.

Toni Clark | Public Health Specialist
Toni is a Public Health Specialist working on the Syndromic Surveillance Project at the Alaska Native EpiCenter. Toni has a BA in Economics and is finishing their MPS in Data Analytics.
