Blood Drive for Postpartum Hemorrhage Awareness Month

September 29, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

This is part of a series of activities in September to raise awareness around Postpartum Hemorrhage.  Excessive bleeding is the leading complication in childbirth.  Receiving a blood transfusion can save a birthing person’s life and help them recover faster to be able to feed, care for and bond with their baby. Give the gift of life. Make a plan to donate on September 29!

There will be a blood drive held in the parking lot in front of Quyana House/Hospital Administration on September 29th, from 9a.m.-4 p.m., as part of Postpartum Hemorrhage Awareness Month. Please sign up at this link: https://donate.bloodbankofalaska.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/43322
