Leadership Master Class: Cultural Awareness (Designed for managers and/or supervisors, but open to all staff) is being held via Zoom (Zoom ID 984 098 70065) on Tuesday, April 9, from 1-4 p.m.

Join us to better understand the history of Alaska Native peoples and to celebrate cultural traditions. What is critical for you to know as a Leader about the history of Alaska Native peoples? How can you increase awareness and address culturally insensitive interactions or remarks in a compassionate and effective manner?

  • Managing cultural difference
  • Understanding historical trauma and the impact on Alaska Native people
