The ANTHC Injury Prevention Program will be holding a virtual QPR training May 7, 2025.
Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. QPR teaches three steps anyone can learn to become a Gatekeeper to help prevent suicide. Trained participants learn how to recognize a crisis and warning signs, how to offer hope, and how to get help and save a life.

In support of improving patient care, Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. CPE Credit will be posted to the online CPE Monitor system within 60 days following completion of each activity when applicable. The ANMC Joint Accreditation CE Program Portfolio additionally supports Behavioral Health (APA), Social Work (ASWB-ACE), and Dietitians (CPEU). Continuing Education Credits: this activity has been designated by ANMC for a maximum of 1.5 contact hours.
