Courtney Foye

I would like to recognize Courtney for being a great role model in her role as a charge nurse. Regardless of what might be going on around her in the OR department (that in itself can add stress to her day) she always has time to listen to the staffs’ concerns or takes time to answer any questions that the staff might have, and she does it with a smile, which is refreshing. I believe that being available for staff provides cohesiveness as a team, as well as validation which in turn the staff feels heard and respected and in the end the patient will always receive the best care possible. When we all treat each other as we want to be treated, it’s a win-win for everyone. Thank you, Courtney, for setting an example for all of us.
