Kelly went above and beyond to ensure a patient received their medication on a holiday. On New Year’s Eve, we were called and notified that an oncology patient would be due for an in clinic injection on New Year’s Day and wanted to ensure we’d be able to get the med to the walk-in clinic. We had to figure out a way to make the medication accessible to the clinic while the pharmacy was closed. Knowing she worked the next day, Kelly offered to walk it across campus to the clinic if one of the OP pharmacists filled it. I really appreciated that she was so willing to do whatever it took to deliver care to our patient. The patient, walk-in providers, and I are all incredibly grateful to you Kelly!
