ANTHC and the ANMC Accredited Campus are adopting the industry best practice of using plain language emergency alerts. We will transition from emergency color codes to plain language emergency alerts on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. So instead of hearing “Code Red”, you will hear an overhead emergency plain language alert that gives the type of emergency with specifics about what the issue is and how to act.
