Timecard Reminder: please review and approve timecards by Monday at 10 a.m.

ANTHC Employees, Managers and Timekeepers:

The deadline to code and approve timecards is Monday at 10 a.m. Timecards are reviewed and approved in UKG Dimensions.

While the deadline is Monday at 10 a.m., it is always appreciated that everyone reviews their timecard as soon as possible at the end of their workweek to allow time to make any necessary corrections if needed).

ALL timecards must be reviewed and approved by the employee and manager/timekeeper. If an employee is leaving on PTO and will be on PTO when a pay period closes, the employee is still responsible for approving their timecards prior to leaving on PTO. 

If issues are discovered, please contact Payroll as soon as possible to address them. This allows Payroll a few days to make corrections and employees and managers can approve timecards before the pay period closes.

We appreciate all the effort that has been made to comply with the deadline. We are asking for your help in getting our employees on board with reviewing their timecards prior to period end so they can be corrected before the period closes. We are striving to not only have approved time, but also accurate timecards, so reviewing is essential. If you feel like you need a refresher course in Kronos or would like a one on one training session with the payroll team, please let us know. We cannot achieve this goal without your help. A reminder, that you as the supervisor and the employee need to review then approve the timecard. We thank you again, for your efforts in helping payroll make progress towards this goal.

Here are the benefits of 100% participation in regards to employees reviewing their time  thoroughly prior to approving their timecards:

  1. Ensure ANTHC pays the employee for all hours worked.
  2. Helps supervisors/timekeepers ensure the timecard they are approving is accurate.
  3. Reduces the number of timecard corrections needed:
    1. As timecards will be completed correctly before they are approved and processed.
    1. Supervisors may better identify improper coding.
    1. Supervisors will identify employees that no longer work for ANTHC and ANTHC will not approve/pay terminated employees for time not worked.

Finally, this  practice ensures ANTHC is compliant with federal regulations (45 CFR 2543, 2 CFR 215, 45 CFR 74)
