Leadership development opportunity for Alaska Native and American Indian people! Apply now for one of ANTHC’s three 2024 – 2025 Leadership Development Programs

Applications will be accepted for ANELP, LEAD and Pathways May 13-June 9, 2024.

All programs run from September 2024 to May 2025 and are designed to help employees improve their supervisory, management and leadership skills. A few benefits from participating in a leadership development program include: improved self-confidence, improved public speaking skills and expanded personal and professional networks.

Some program features:

  • Peer learning groups to provide feedback, insight, suggestions and support
  • Interactive hands on format
  • Take home tools and resources
  • Personal assessments, and more.

Pathways

Participants are at all levels of their career, with or without formal education, seeking to improve leadership knowledge and skills. At the end of the program, after successfully passing an exam, participants receive a Certified Supervisor Certification and graduates may choose to receive continuing education (CE) credits or undergraduate credits.

Pathways is a 9-month leadership development program customized for people at all levels of their career, with or without formal education to assist them with their personal growth and development on their leadership development path.

LEAD

LEAD is also open to all Alaska THOs.

Track 1: Participants earn 5 credits from APU, either 400-level for those working on their undergraduate degree or 600-level for those working or wanting a start on their graduate degree from APU.

Track 2: This is designed for those who wish to focus on their improving their supervisory and management skills by earning a Certified Manager Certification.

ANELP

ANELP is our most intimate cohort. A maximum of 4 applicants receive executive sponsorship from ANTHC leadership before attending 9 modules at APU toward the Executive MBA program. Participants learn from and interact with ANTHC senior leadership, Alaska Native Corporations, and Tribal health organizations from around the state.
